Sheetal Elangovan — UX Designer, Problem solver and collaborative team player.

New Jersey based designer with a passion for grids, wireframes and problem solving. I currently work with Experian Business as a Sr. UX designer supporting a large scale digital transformation project.

My journey has had multiple turns. In 2008, my career as a Business Analyst in a Digital Transformation company exposed me to User Experience and all things web and mobile. I still remember reading the iOS Human Interface guidelines for the first time and realizing my love for interfaces.

In 2010, I moved to the United States and this was also my chance to finally dive deeper into the world of UX! I pursued a Certificate in Advanced Web and Interaction design at UCLA where I learned to empathize with users and design interfaces. My past experience as a Business Analyst helped me develop a problem-solving mindset and combined with human factors has led me to be curious in every challenge.

I enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with both creative and technical teams, working through the full design lifecycle from research to product refinement with particular focus on user interface and interaction design. My role as a UX Designer helps me unpack problems and provide solutions in an iterative manner. And I am strong believer in lean UX.
